The Material Handler performs all driving and related functions in the movement of materials necessary for the operation of the Shipping/Receiving and Manufacturing departments. This position is located at our new plant in Monroe, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Exercise and attend pre-shift meeting; perform 5S assignments at the beginning of the shift.
- Perform pre-start checklist on forklift and turn into the shift team leader; notify team leader of any issues with dock doors or dock locks.
- Receiving activities: Verify incoming material to packing slip for correct quantity and report any damage or discrepancies to team leader/quality.
- After receiving inspections are complete, place incoming materials in designated locations.
- Perform ISO/Poly bulk unloading procedure as required (if applicable).
- Shipping activities: Using FIFO system, stage and verify orders to be shipped; prepare bills of loading as needed; use Future 3 System to scan in all outbound shipments; place all Kanban cards/shipping labels on the material containers for outgoing shipments.
- Notify team leader/EDI coordinator when trucks will be short shipped.
- Unload customer returns and rejected material in designated areas; notify team leader/quality.
- Manufacturing service activities: Remove finished goods containers from the line once labeled and place into banding area or designated finished goods storage area. 'Use the DC Server Scanning system to scan all finished products into inventory.
- Using FIFO system, supply manufacturing with components, raw materials and shipping containers (removing any old shipping labels from racks/totes) as required to support production.
- Retrieve materials from outside storage building/trailers as required.
- Check release agent storage tanks three times per shift and replace empty tanks as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping in the warehouse, storage areas, and docks, removing and dumping trash or removing recyclables from these and manufacturing areas as necessary to maintain housekeeping.
- Build crates/boxes for service and export parts as required.
- Fasten plastic or metal bands around stocks, bundles or palletized articles, and designated finished product to be stored or shipped.
- Use spotter truck to switch out trailers at docks as required.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

- Ensure 5-S activities are being performed and address if needed.
- Reassign team members when needed when downtime occurs.

We have an opportunity for a MRO Buyer to join our team in our new Monroe, Ohio facility. The MRO Buyer compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of material, equipment, merchandise and supplies stocked in the facility. Optimizes the use of company assets in the acquisition of assigned goods and services; locates sources of supply for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operating expense) materials and contracted services. Responsible for timely receiving goods and services; packing list and purchase order verification and proper Team Member notification and/or delivery of ordered supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Create purchase orders within the Oracle ERP system; create and maintain files for open/closed purchase orders. Monitor and maintain open purchase orders/invoices with accounting for partial payment.
