JACKSON, Tennessee (May 3, 2016)—UGN, Inc. recently announced the hire of Dale Bandi to oversee their Jackson, Tennessee facility.

Bandi brings with him seven years of plant management experience and more than 22 years of leadership experience. Most recently, he was the senior manager of manufacturing for Nissan North America in Canton, Mississippi. For five years, he oversaw 420 hourly technicians, 15 supervisors, and five managers at the plant where the Titan, Armada, Frontier, Xterra, and Murano products were produced.

As plant manager, Bandi directs all plant production and support operations, facilitates the development of new markets, and leads the UGN team in Jackson—all while ensuring regulatory, safety, and corporate standards compliance.

“Bandi is known for streamlining processes that cut costs, but don't compromise quality or safety,” says Peter Anthony, president and chief executive officer, UGN. “His goal is to constantly improve processes, and he demonstrates out-the-box thinking when tackling tough issues.”

The UGN Jackson facility opened in 2002 and currently employs more than 400 people. The 241,000 square foot manufacturing plant produces a variety of UGN products including, state-of-the-art carpet systems, dash insulators, and underfloor modules—all to fit the needs of their clients in the Japanese automotive industry.

This award-winning plant has received a variety of notable recognition since opening, including the Manpower Safety Council and the “Perfect Record Award” from the National Safety Council.
