UGN, Inc. Honored by Make-A-Wish FoundationTINLEY PARK, Illinois (March 31, 2015)—Corporate social responsibility programs (CSR) are often dismissed as the latest trend or buzzword. But for the organizations actively contributing to communities through these programs, they mean much more.

UGN, Inc. is one of those organizations. Commitment to community is one of the key values UGN team members pride themselves on and that is expressed throughout each location they have operations– currently seven in North America, along with their corporate office in Tinley Park.

Recently the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois honored the generosity and efforts of team members at UGN Tinley Park by naming them this year’s recipient of the Chris Greicius Society of Hope Award. This award is named for a young boy who inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish and is reserved for those donors who have cumulatively given in excess of $100,000.

“Our commitment to the communities where we have locations is a very important part of who we are as a company,” says Peter Anthony, president and chief executive officer. “Our team members pride themselves on their ability to be involved in the communities wheUGN, Inc.
