Tinley Park, Ill. (August 24, 2020) — Leading automotive parts manufacturer, UGN, Inc., has been named as one of the 2020 Best Places to Work in Illinois. This is the second consecutive year UGN, Inc. has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois, and this marks the first year the company has placed in the top ten in the large company grouping.
The annual awards program began in 2006 and is promoted by The Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, MRA-The Management Association, the Small Business Advocacy Council, and Best Companies Group.
This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Illinois; organizations that benefit the state's economy, workforce, and businesses.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Illinois. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of a team member survey to measure their experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
UGN was recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Illinois virtual awards ceremony coordinated by The Daily Herald Business Ledger that was held on August 20, 2020.
